ABOUT

// the problem

If you're a small streamer, you already know the deal. You go live, you play your heart out, and the platform buries you under thousands of other channels because you don't have the numbers. The algorithms are designed to promote people who are already popular — not people who are just getting started.

The front page of every major streaming platform is a self-fulfilling prophecy: big streamers get visibility, which gets them viewers, which gets them more visibility. Meanwhile, you're streaming to two viewers and one of them is your mum.

*No offence to mums. They're doing hero's work.

// the idea

NobodysWatching.live is a simple directory for small streamers. No algorithms deciding who gets seen. No follower thresholds. No pay-to-play promotion. Just a list of real people who stream, and a way for viewers to find them.

Sign in with Twitch, fill out a quick profile, and you're listed. When you go live, you appear in the carousel at the top of the page. When you're offline, you're still in the directory. Either way, someone who's never heard of you might find you — and that's more than most platforms offer.

What We Don't Do

We don't store your email. We don't track your browsing. We don't sell data — we barely collect any. Your profile is a username, a bio, your games, and links to your channels. That's it. If you want out, you can delete everything in two clicks.

// who built this

This site was built by x_TapTap_x — a 56-year-old gamer and small streamer who got tired of streaming into the void. No development team, no investors, no grand business plan. Just a bloke with an idea and enough stubbornness to make it happen.

If you've got feedback, ideas, or you just want to say hello, find me on Bluesky or drop into the Discord.

*Built with care, caffeine, and a healthy amount of Claude AI assistance.

// the future

This is version one. The plan is to keep it simple, keep it free, and let the community shape what comes next. If it helps even a handful of small streamers get discovered, it's done its job.

Nobody's watching? Not for long.
